Michael focuses on civil litigation in the state and federal courts of New York, with an emphasis on HOA/condominium liability, professional liability, and general liability. Michael is experienced in managing all aspects of litigation, including negotiating settlements, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and taking and defending depositions. He also has significant experience in transactional work, having drafted and negotiated contracts on behalf of dozens of individuals and small businesses.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Michael parlayed his business and finance background into several consulting opportunities, assisting in the seed and early-stage development of tech start-ups and small businesses. He began his legal career in California, where he attended law school and worked for a business litigation/employment defense firm. A native of Connecticut, he returned to New York Metro in 2011 and has since litigated a variety of matters, including commercial and complex liability cases.
