Cassandra is a construction defect and property damage attorney, representing clients in matters involving complex construction defect claims; building system, mechanical, HVAC, and fire suppression system failures; fires and explosives; and water intrusion and flooding. She practices in Connecticut and New York, in both state and federal courts.
Prior to joining GVK, Cassandra’s practice focused on construction and commercial disputes at Am Law 100 firms. She has counseled and defended owners, developers, construction managers, general contractors, and trade contractors concerning public and private construction projections. She has experience counseling and defending those clients regarding claims for breach of contract and warranty, defective and deficient plans and specifications, construction defects, and project delays. Cassandra also has experience defending clients in general liability matters.
Cassandra provides pro bono representation to minor children through Lawyers for Children of America.
Cassandra lives in Connecticut and serves as president on her condominium board of directors. She’s an avid rower and enjoys renovating her nineteenth-century brownstone and taking hikes with her dog Murphy.
