Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP is continuing its growth and expansion looking for junior to mid-level associates in the following offices and practice areas:

  • Associate attorney with a minimum of 3-4 years experience in the area of commercial transportation, with some experience in general liability. A demonstrated history of handling a full transportation caseload required. NY admission required. Located in our Irvington office.
  • Associate attorney with 3-7 years experience in litigation involving condominiums, cooperatives and commercial buildings for downtown Manhattan office of regional litigation firm. NY admission required. Must have excellent legal writing ability. Must include resume and salary requirements.

Gallo Vitucci Klar LLP is seeking legal secretaries with insurance defense experience to support Partners in our Long Island & New Jersey office locations.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 – 3 years general litigation experience, in NY State and Federal courts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment
  • Open to taking on new responsibilities and challenging tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Document management and organization, saving to network, indexing files
  • Assembling motions and other pleadings (including assembling of exhibits, transcripts and other pertinent documents)
  • Drafting standard pleadings (answers, RJIs, bills of particulars, etc)
  • Drafting and responding to standard discovery demands (interrogatories, requests to produce documents, etc)
  • Schedule conferences and depositions
  • Manage bills for third party vendors, process check requests and follow up with accounting
